My Urbanism master thesis, completed in October 2024. In it, I explore a better way to describe, design, and value intersitial urban spaces. Next to theoretical exploration, site analysis, and fieldwork, explorative design is used to imagine how these spaces could look and function to support and sustain the cultural and ecological values for the people and wildlife that make use of them, encourage bottom-up spacial development and inspire by illustrating what is possible.

Cineview is a tool I made to plan cinema visits. It has an interactive schedule of all Cineville showtimes, a list of all movies on selected location(s) and day, and you can use it to pin and share selected shows. Other features include a map of all Cineville cinemas, direct ticket links, an add to calendar button, and links to other sites such as IMDb and Letterboxd. Cineview currently has the Cineville programme for the Netherlands, Belgium, Germany and Sweden.

This is a collection of trailers I've edited for Filmhuis Lumen to promote special screening events, and highlights from the monthly programme.
This site is built using Eleventy, but every featured project has its own independent one-page mini-website, which provides more freedom in presentation.

A website with a collection of beautiful cab ride videos with an interactive map overlay of the route and the (approximate) live location. I've been working on this side project for the past couple of years as an exercise in UI design and programming. The interface is built using Svelte, with Protomaps map data.

A mashup of the trailers of all the movies I watched in cinemas in 2023, in order.

An elective course of Landscape Architecture in collaboration with the artist collective Observatorium. In a group of 9 students, we developed a temporary physical intervention and a design to deal with the interstitial space of the Land of Chabot in Rotterdam. The website landvanchabot.nl was built as a ‘digital memory’ of the final exhibition day. You can also download a pdf version of the booklet we produced on our project.

This redesign of the Lijnbaan area in Rotterdam is a project from the first year of the master Urbanism at TU Delft. I chose to focus on creating a new ecological connection, while also adding living space to the Lijnbaan area, and improving social safety.

weg.works is a digital version of the WEG exhibition by artist collective ACHT. I built the site based on a design by Matthijs Muller, using Threlte.

A mashup of the trailers of all the movies I watched in cinemas in 2022, in order.

This research and design project was conducted in the first year of the master Urbanism at TU Delft. It is an imagination what the Dutch coastal city of Den Helder could look like if the sea level were to rise by 3 metres by the year 2100, and we would transition to a more hybrid way of living with the water.

Through visualisations of Spotify's sound analysis data, you can get more insight into your music. Built as an exercise in UI design and to learn Svelte and Sveltekit.

A new design for the Prinsenhof museum in Delft, made as part of the minor Heritage & Design.
